Bart studied Civil Engineering at Delft University of Technology, followed by education at the ACT. He started his career with ING Bank (1996) as a derivative trader, and quickly moved into Treasury Management. 'Despite my general interest in finance, I am drawn especially to develop finance solutions for every day usage, resulting in operational benefits’. In 2005 Bart started at Philips Corporate Treasury. Bart was responsible for the global FX risk management and later fulfilled the role as Senior Treasury Consultant. In 2008 Bart took the role as Supply Base Risk manager in which finance and supply chain risks came together.
