Lane started his career in banking in The Netherlands working for Bank Paribas and after that for NMB, now known as ING, in various functions throughout the bank. Subsequently he joined Hagemeyer, a Dutch publicly traded worldwide distribution company. Lane previously worked at Bunge before joining JT International in 2010.
