Richard currently leads a sales, marketing and account management team based in London. He is responsible for ensuring a consistently high level of consultancy in delivering asset and liquidity management solutions, offering a first class sales experience for HSBC’s major corporate and institutional clients, both in the UK and across Europe. As part of the latter, Richard also continues to co-ordinate the Liquidity business within HSBC Global Asset Management, through sales teams based in London, Dusseldorf and Paris. With strong local knowledge, government / industry links and a thorough understanding of industry sector issues and asset / liquidity management trends, Richard’s team works in collaboration with these major corporate and institutional clients to help drive customer specific, automated solutions and to meet all business objectives for those customers. Richard’s vision for the Asset Management Institutional Sales team is the deployment of an expert sales force across the region, recognised as market leaders and delivering a consistent client experience in every country, on every occasion.
