Roland has been head of treasury of Lufthansa German Airlines since August 2006. He is responsible for the group-wide cash and risk management as well as for asset management of Lufthansa liquidity and the pension CTA. Prior to this, he worked as senior consultant for Deutsche Bank, advising large corporates and public sector in risk analysis and risk management methods and organisation.
