C.J. Wimley is EVP, Trade Liquidity Solutions for SunGard’s AvantGard business. In this role, C.J. leads the strategic growth of SunGard’s AvantGard Trade Liquidity practice which is focused on delivering solutions to help mitigate risk and optimize liquidity in B2B trade receivables. In this capacity he is responsible for setting and driving innovation, alliances and service delivery across the business. Trade liquidity analysis can also help facilitate the most effective use of instruments such as credit insurance, collateralized lending, dynamic discounting, securitization, invoice financing and first / third party outsourcing. Companies and lenders that apply modeling to appropriately evaluate risk and liquidity can better leverage the trade receivables portfolio as an integral component of capital structure.

Mr. Wimley offers over 20 years experience in financial technology and consulting services. Prior to joining SunGard, he designed, developed, implemented and managed credit and A/R systems for the industrial financing division of the CIT Group.
