Ian joined John Lewis Partnership as Head of Treasury in 2009 where he is responsible for all aspects of treasury, corporate finance and their co-brand credit card. Ian started his career with Unilever before joining H.J.Heinz Co. in 1991, holding senior finance and treasury posts including Financial Controller and European Group Treasurer. In 2001 he joined Powergen plc as Assistant Group Treasurer and was appointed Head of UK Treasury following its acquisition by E.ON AG. In 2004, shortly after it was purchased by venture capitalists, he joined Debenhams as Treasurer, later taking responsibility for personal finance. Ian is a qualified accountant (CIMA) and a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
