Jonathan was the first journalist in Europe specialising in personal technology. He writes a technology page in the FT's How To Spend It magazine and presents a video segment on www.howtospendit.com. He has always been fascinated by the future, both of technology and human culture more broadly, and In 2000, he wrote a bestselling book, A Brief History of the Future, examining historical attempts to predict future trends.
