Marco Schuchmann is responsible for Akzo Nobel’s worldwide treasury operations. He was appointed in January 2010 as part of the Treasury Transformation Program introduced at Akzo Nobel. In this role, the implementation of SAP TR, setting up a global Treasury Operations Team and the faced roll-out of the payment factory and standardized processes for cash reconciliation (SSC for A/R)  have been crucial milestones. Prior to Akzo Nobel, Marco worked as Managing Director of Amgen Global Finance BV whereby he was the architect of the newly developed in-house bank for the Amgen group worldwide. In this role he assumed responsibility for all Treasury operations activities worldwide. He has huge experience in Treasury change management programs and the implementation of Shared Service Centers.
