Mark has been with Citi for 12 years and is the Global Transaction Services (GTS) Global Industry Head for Telecommunications and EMEA Industry head for Technology, Media & Telecommunication clients. He is responsible for addressing the working capital management, treasury and trade service / financing needs of clients in these industries, through the mobilisation of the Citi infrastructure, resources and extensive solution set, across Citi's 100+ countries.

Prior to assuming the industry and country management roles, Mark served for 3.5 years as a GTS client sales manager. In addition to assisting multinational clients embed and run best-in-class treasury structures, Mark has led a number of strategic initiatives including Vodafone and Citi's mobile commerce UK - Kenya remittance service, which received the Bankers innovation of the year award in 2007. Most recently, Mark has worked extensively with clients to implement supply chain finance solutions and position prepaid cards as an effective customer cash reward proposition, as part of their marketing and sales strategies.

During Mark's career in Citi he has worked in a variety of roles (Relationship Management, Finance, Procurement, Strategy and Operations) across a diverse set of geographies, including Tampa, New York and London. Mark has a Master’s degree (with Honours) in History, from Edinburgh University and completed his treasury diploma in 2008, becoming an Associate Member of the Corporate Treasurers (ACT), attaining distinctions in International Cash Management and Financial & Management Accounting.
